From building bridges to discovering medication to writing software — Engineers Day, or E-Day, is the UK College of Engineering's celebration of everything that engineering and computer science have to offer.

Using NSF funding, Brent Seales has gathered a team of experts from UK's College of Engineering and the College of Arts and Sciences to build EduceLab — UK’s vision for next-generation heritage science. The collaborative facility will focus on developing innovative artificial intelligence solutions for the unique challenges presented by cultural heritage objects.
In addition to developing direct air capture technology, this collaborative research team will also look at the engineering design systems for utilization and storage of carbon dioxide from air.
